Job Overview - Coach: Group Training and Personal Training

As a Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional training experience, ensuring each client receives the guidance and real-time adjustments they need to improve strength, feel better, and remain injury-free. This role requires strong fitness knowledge, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to command a room while fostering a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead group and personal training sessions with enthusiasm and expertise.
Assess client exertion levels, pain, and body language to make real-time workout modifications.
Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the facility is organized and clean.
Open and close the facility, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and motivational skills to empower clients.
Support onboarding of new clients by effectively communicating the value of training programs.
Role Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in personal training, group training, or a related field.
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR NASM/NSCA credentials.
Domain Knowledge: Deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology with the ability to adjust programming on the fly.
Client Interaction: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate clients.
Reliability & Independence: Able to work with minimal oversight in a trust-based environment.
Comfort with Technology: Must be comfortable with live streaming group sessions.
Organizational & Time Management Skills: Must be highly organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.

Nice-to-Haves
Experience in high-energy, non-corporate gym environments.
Additional Requirements
Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly.
Demonstrate exercises with proper form and clear verbal instruction.
Must be available for early morning (6 AM – 12 PM) and evening (4 PM – 8 PM) shifts, plus Saturday mornings.
